There are a million things one can resolve to do as we begin this new year. Many of us choose to stop doing something we should not, and start doing more of what we should. I am a big believer in trying to more by doing less. That is, buy fewer things in general and you will be able to buy more of the things you really need or want.
This year my resolution is to be more industrious. The free online dictionary defines industrious as
Assiduous in work or study; diligent.
That is, not to just be busy, inventive, innovative, or productive, but to be producing something with determination. In my mind it also means to do something has monetary value, that is a part of your business or industry.
