Just a brief note. It was brought to my attention during the last page ranking process that I should have gotten something like a 2 or a 3. At that time, July I think, I felt like Charlie Brown because I got a 0. I stopped looking after that.
With all of the recent hoopla about Google dropping the ranking of many pages I figured I had nothing to worry about. When sites like Problogger drop to a 4 it was big news. Not everyone went down, Copyblogger may have gone up, to a 7, it is kinda hard to tell from the post. My ranking indicator when I visit there shows nothing so I can't tell.
So, it was with great surprise that I found out today that Modern Magellans blog is rated a 5. You see, when you don't worry about it, it's all good news.
Now I need to figure out why my Technorati rating has been dropping, or drooping, from 325 to 317 over the past week. I thought the rule was that it measured links from different sites over the past 6 months. This blog isn't even 6 months old yet (Nov. 21st) I have also stopped the Saturday link games so maybe it has something to do with that.
