I am quite busy working on 3 business plans so I need to be brief.
I got an email from Facebook. It seems a friend posted a question. The email did not say what the question was but since it was from a friend, it would be rude not to answer. Thanks to Facebook's format everyone would know if I did not answer. So, I visited, answered the unimportant question, and was left to think:
Is there anything in my life that is a bigger waste of time than Facebook?
Now that Google will be openning the social media standard" supposed to do that? rush so that people no longer have to create a new identity for every site I can signup to waste more time on more sites! Wasn't the Microsoft/MSN "Wallet/Passport/LiveID" supposed to do this?
Local small business columnist Jan Norman of the OC Register had a very nice little article in the business section of the paper today. She cites some data collected by Discover Card: that 72% of small business owners feel they get no benefit to their business from networking online. I would put a link to it but after 10 attempts to search the OCRegister.com site - nothing comes up. Wonder why they are shrinking away?
Well, back to work...
