A fantastic project was started many months ago by fellow Modern Magellans Drew McLellan and Gavin Heaton - a book titled "The Age of Conversation." The idea was to get 100 bloggers to each write a brief one or two page chapter on anything they wanted related to the new age of conversation occurring on the Internet.
I am fortunate to have participated in this project. I have not promoted it as much as I probably should have. Initially, so many of the other authors were very active that I worried about being overkill. Then, it just kind of faded into the background and was left there.
That is, until David Brazeal called me on Friday to interview for his series of podcasts about the book and the contributors.
This collection shows one of the many ways that the increased connectivity of the web enables "crowd-sourcing" works like this to be created. I believe we will see more of these in the future.
I have benefited from getting to know many of the other 103 authors. I think it also helped the Technorati ranking of this blog as well as this blog getting a Google Page Rank of 5.

Roger, thanks for the link, and for participating. You were a great interview subject!
