Every Company Needs a Good Map

Is there any doubt about what the company pictured to the right sells? Is there any doubt how they feel about what they do? I took this picture when I was in Lille, France a few years ago. I felt it captured the essence of their business, Chocolat Passion, quite well. (French link)

This probably would not work for say auto-repair but it might. Think of it "Ford Passion" We love Fords. We treat everyone as though we owned it. We care for your care like our own mother was going to be driving it. The only question left is; How much do they love their moms?

It does not take much to say a lot. It takes creativity and thought to write in short sentences. It takes more time to write well than it does to write excessively. This is the essence of good mapmaking:
