5 Reasons to do something other than business on the weekend 
1) Balance - A good leader is a well-rounded person. They have interests that stimulate the mind as well as the bank account.
2) Friends and Family - all work and no play not only makes you dull it can also leave you alone.
3) Respect - Chances are that if you are at the business you want your people or team at work also. It is important to respect others and give them time to develop their own lives. This says a lot about your concern for them as well.
4) Community - As Guy Kawasaki said so well in the Art of the Start - "There are many currencies to use to pay back society. Giving money is only one of them...." If you have a local business then it is important to help build the health of that community. The better it is the better it can be for you.
5) You worked hard all week - You should be tired by now. If you did not then perhaps you were doing one of the other 4 on a work day so then you better go to the next post: Why you should be working on the weekend.
