Arun Rajagopal and I belong to a group of 100 authors brought together by Drew McLellan and Gavin Heaton to create an e-book titled ‘Age of Conversation’. Arun has gone to great lengths to get to know the each writer. He then put together a brief bio on each person. Doing something once or twice is easy. Doing 100 reps is hard. His reason, "After all, the Conversation Age cannot bloom unless the conversationalists from far and wide get to know each other better."
From the original post on Drew's Site - Drews Marketing Minute
Here is the idea they presented:
- 100 authors.
- The overriding topic is "The Conversation Age"
- The items are short - one 8.5" x 11" page
- Write it quickly and get it out there. Published electronically.
- Available online for a small fee and 100% of the proceeds to Variety the Children's Charity -- which serves children across the entire globe.
I wrote a chapter about difficulties of communicating a consistant message as it spreads through a crowd. I look forward to seeing the finished product and I hope you will consider the value when you purchase one for charity.
Again, a great big thank you to Drew and Gavin for starting this project and to Arun for his labor to profile 100 people in just 8 posts.

Roger,
I like your blog. Nice job and great name. And I promise to keep my posts under 1,000 words.
